What are some tips to help fragile skin at home?

1.) Off-loading to relieve pressure points and eliminate possibility of developing wounds.

2.) Reposition body weight every 2-4 hours while in bed and every 1 hour when sitting.

3.) Elevate heels when lying in bed and apply lotion twice a day.

4.) Add or increase protein in diet to assist wound healing.

5.) Inspect feet and perform foot care daily (do not soak feet).

6.) Control swelling of your legs (elevate legs when sitting and watch salt intake).

7.) Drink water and Move around.
